Sally is also a very keen encourager of young handlers and last June applied to the Society for help with transport costs to take six cattle and a group of young handlers to the four days of the Livestock Event in July. The Society made a grant of £500 to help with her transport costs and Sally came and spoke to BAS about the trip at our social evening last November. The youngsters involved were all between the ages of 16 – 22. Early mornings and long days meant hard work for all concerned but very rewarding and a great opportunity for young handlers to experience showing.
